‘Run/Escape” Acrylic on canvas. 6’ 6” x 9’
Grammerly doesn’t work on instagram so below is an over explained over the top grammatically incorrect description. And the gods know I don’t have the will power to give a damn about it.
So this piece was somewhat inspired by the biblical story Lot and his fam bam. Now y’all know i think it’s garbáge, however its a great story to somewhat transition in it to my life. Its a dramatization of my self destructive life decisions (school, love life, SCHOOL, home life, SCHOOL). As you see above there are 4 yellow figures and all 4 are me. The city in the back represents a piece of my life? the potential of life? the power to create my future? BUT yet i decide to destroy it all with a lovely 100 percent chance of fiery rock destruction. One of the figures is being crystallized(idk if thats the right word) into a salt mount for looking back(just like Lot’s wife), another one is sprinting away with a smile, as if he enjoys seeing the city go down in flames OR maybe he knows better things are coming, and the two figures trying to tackle him down are probably jealous? maybe their afraid of its potential. OR maybe they’re just too lazy to follow him and its best to just take him out now. idk im still trying to figure this out myself.. and  yeah….. if you made this far down please give yourself a nice pat on the butt
