Tuqous Al Turba / Rite of Land

The topic of multicultural coexistence is close to my heart. I am experiencing this problem first hand, and
I therefore consider it important to talk about it and deal with it. I feel the influence of a new culture on my personality and the process of adapting to a new culture is similar to adopting a new identity. The object formed on this subject thus demonstrates my own life and explores the processes of changes caused by the influence
of another culture.

The sieve with an Arabic ornament symbolizes the Islamic world and culture of the Middle East, by which I am influenced. The strings represent the imaginary boundary where my culture clashes with the Islamic culture.
The soil symbolizes my person and my life.
