Pick Me,
A movable and multifunctional stool / sideboard / seating / table.
PICK ME is a stool designed for the Danish design company Lucie Kaas, and was presented for the first time at the Formland UP / Graded fair in Herning February 2014. The stool is a multifunctional furniture that serves as an extra seating, but also as a small coffee table you can pick up and take with you when needed.
My focus in the designproces has been on a holistic experience for the customer - from unpacking the box to assembling the stool. The detail lies in the distinctive design of the frame and its assembling to the top, as well as the legs' assembling to the steel pipes.
Pick ME has a Nordic expression where form follows function, and the use of Nordic wood mixed with different metals provides a period multifunctional furniture that can be used as an extra seating, bedside table, storage, side table or coffee table etc.
The top surface is soft-coated in matte colors, giving the stool an exclusive tactility while allowing the color to be customized to fit the customer's individual style. A warm, playful expression that gives a friendly and welcoming furniture.
