ZEN 衣单

YIDAN is a cultural media company focusing on film and television shooting. Its name is smartly derived from “Zen”. “Zen” is a lifestyle with wisdom generated from the Chinese way of thinking. Zen cultivation refers to mind cultivation. What it emphasizes is that five skandhas are empty. Only after you are well-preparedand relieve yourself at the right moment, you will be full of wisdom. 1983ASIA refines the concept of“emptiness” from wise thoughts of Zen and takes it as the design creativity. “No images exist at ten directions, and no tracks exist in six realms of existence. One should go beyond three realms, and one should separate from five elements. One should be himself without being affected by the outside world.”This is not only the meditation of Zen but also the ultimate expression of oriental emptiness aesthetics.

“The sky is dark”, and “dark” is close to black. It generates all colors and is above all. Ink can generate “five colors by techniques”. Black is full of imagination and creativity. Film is the art of light. When everything is emptied and returns to the origin of the design--“point, line and plane”. Through design, the most brilliant sunlight in the nature is abstracted into “shadow” of oblique line. The spiritual strokes are runningwith the instant thoughts. It implies that we never forget the beauty of the tranquility throughout the sky, which reminds people of the color of classical art.

衣单，是以影视拍摄制作为核心的文化媒体公司，品牌名妙取「禅」之名，「禅」是华夏锻炼思维出智慧的一种生活方式。修禅即修心，讲究的是五蕴皆空，只有适时整理放下后，方能容纳无上智慧。1983ASIA从禅之哲思中提炼出“空”的概念，作为设计的创意。「十方无影像，六道绝行踪。跳出三界外，不在五行中。一著高一著，一步阔一步。坐断佛祖关，迷却来时路。」这既是禅宗空观，也是东方空灵美学的极致表现。

“天为玄”天之色“玄”近乎黑色，派生一切色彩而又高于一切色彩；水墨亦是“运墨而五色俱”，黑色充满想象力与创造力。电影是光的艺术，当清空一切回归到设计的本源“点线面”，通过设计的方式将自然中最璀璨的太阳光线抽象成纯粹的斜线“灵光”，以飘忽之思，运空灵之笔，意指我们从未忘记那穿透苍穹的静谧之美，亦是重新唤起人们对经典光影艺术的色彩记忆。
