For my friend's birthday, I decided to get him a gift from my company. He and I are big fans of the Dark Souls franchise so I decided to create a design around that particular theme. Designing for this kind of project does have it's limitations since when engraving this type of media, it forces me towards a limit of 2 colors (The actual engraving itself and the surrounding white space). Also the engraver itself must have a large enough line width in the design to enable a consistent etching. For a quick side project I think it came out fairly nice.
