Salsa City, 53 Cali's Fair
Design and layout: Juan Hincapie

"The Cali's Fair began when the city erupted. At dawn on August 7th 1956 Cali rose deafened by the disaster: seven national army trucks loaded with dynamite exploded and destroyed much of the city. The photos remain from that cataclysm still shaken by the atmosphere of desolation and sadness that attest.
True or not, "the explosion of Cali", an expression that is part of Cali slang and serves as a reference in time when talking about the history of the city, had the positive effect of creating the conditions for the birth of the Cali's Fair "
