This is a poster I designed for a Talenthouse contest for Nas' NYE concert.
The concept originally came from his first album, Illmatic, his face superimposed over buildings. My concept not only portrays Nas as a part of NYC, the buildings in the city have become his roots. He is synonomous with Queens and therefore New York City.
