A Social Experiment on Audience Reaction to Artwork in the BFA Show
This piece was part of SAIC 2012 Spring Undergraduate Exhibition in the Sullivan Galleries. It is based on my experience in museums and galleries, where often times there are conversations such as "Oh I like this piece" or "This is interesting, I quite like it." In our everyday lives, we unconsciously rate and make judgements about things around us. This piece aims to find out the different reasons behind such judgements, how audience interpretation differ from the artist intention.
