IN FLUX
As I approached my 30th birthday, I started taking stock in what I had accomplished in my life up to that point. The goals I had set for myself, the milestones I had hoped to reach, and the future all weighed heavily on my mind.
In the midst of all this introspection, I realized that many of my closest friends were going through their own life changes. Some were in new relationships, others in the middle of break ups. Some were watching relationships with their parents change while others were starting new families themselves.
I created this short portrait series in an attempt to express what we were all feeling. Through these images and long conversations, I learned that we're always changing, always moving forward in some way. Always in flux.
