As the Marketing Director for the Ithaca College Senior Class of 2013, I am responsible for maintaining the Senior Class brand, managing a Marketing Committee of three students and managing a Give Back committee of three students.
Before my senior year began, I crowdsourced ideas, designed a few logo options, and let Ithaca College seniors vote for their favorite design via the Senior Class Facebook page. (The Senior Class logo is below.) Now, I am responsible for making sure that the Senior Class brand is consistent among different marketing channels.
I also manage a marketing team of three dedicated students who create posters, write announcements, update the Senior Class website, create displays, and use other marketing tactics to promote 3-4 events per month. In this role, I create a marketing timelines and assign roles to different members to make sure that all marketing materials are effective and completed in a timely manner. I am also responsible for updating the Senior Class Facebook page and Twitter account.
