Tulane River Front Campus

TULANE RIVER FRONT CAMPUS

The Tulane Riverfront Campus is dedicated to primary and applied research focused on coastal and deltaic restoration, retention and protection, along with the study of related ecosystems, geomorphology and hydrology. Storm and natural event histories and their cultural impacts are studied at the campus along with the related economic and energy implications and opportunities.

To accomplish this research, a wide range of disciplines and expertise are needed on site to produce the highest quality of findings and results. The new institute provides an optimized setting for research, collaboration, and education by offering a balance of enclosed and open space in relationship to the site’s natural surroundings and the Mississippi River.
