‘KOMJU’ is alcoholic drink produced by KOOKSOONDANG, a Korean representative traditional alcohol manufacturer. This contains sweet and sour taste of citron and lemon and has a low alcohol content to drink softly.
This products mainly targets women in their late twenties and early thirties, who enjoy talking with friends at bars or clubs and drink alcohol once or twice a week and the package is designed to suit urban, modern and polished taste.
‘KOMJU’ targets people that are familiar with drinking. So for expressing alcohol feelings, metallic silver color and green color are applied to the package as main colors. Also, the vertically oval patterns are characterfully used to express various taste concepts including ‘sweet and sour’ and the fancy and feminine style describes an active and joyful atmosphere of a drinking party.
Not to express a too strong or sour image due to the green color all over, a winding serif is applied to the end of the font with a soft curve in ‘BI’ and this looks cute and delightful. The dot in ‘j’ is emphasized with a pink circle to express a sweet image and it is visually finished in the whole package.
