The project began by disassembling the original water meter, taking dimensions off each of the components and then modeling the assembly in Solidworks. This model was used as an underlay for preliminary sketching to specify dimensions for the existing internal components.

Before beginning to iterate new forms, I researched the current product catalogue and drew overlaps in the family aesthetic to carry forward into my own sketching. 

Sketches were submitted to the Banna team who communicated which direction they wanted to move forward with. 

Final model rendered by Phase One and submitted to the Banna engineering team to finalize development before manufacture.
