"La scienza dal giocattolaio" is a catalogue of curiosities and stories about games, written by Davide Coero Borga. More than a book about games, it is a book to play with. The playful aspect results from the involvement of the reader, who has to discover and to interpret the hidden meaning of each illustration. Moreover, by using some optical properties, a sheet of red polyester photographic gelatin can be used to discover a second level of visual representation, by overlaying it on the image.
