Late Show with Stephen Colbert | Logo Redesign
This project that began in mid-January was based around the idea of redesigning the logotype for the late night talk show The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, by the way of incorporating a sans-serif font, a more darker and richer colour palette, and vector based illustrations that all in all create a more warmer and light-hearted version of the show’s current visual identity.

As you will see, all sections of text have been “separated” by the way of their colour choice, font weight, and overall size in order to ease focus and help reduce the amount of content that the viewer has to process, when attempting to identifying with the logotype.

For the display mockups, I decided to place the final outcome on an urban city billboard that would in effect attract the attention of pedestrians and traffic going by, whilst the other mockup places the final outcome itself in a hanging-by-clip setting that, by comparison of its print size, can be seen as a flyer that has been placed for possible assessment or aesthetic appreciation.

So, be sure to tell me what you think in the comment section below!
