Trees and landscapes are one of my favorite subjects to draw. I sure was a bit intimidated by their very complicated shapes and textures at the beginning of my art journey, but after quite a few years of practice, they're no longer that challenging to me. Now, the more intricate the details are, when combined with a unique game of lights and shadows, the happier I am to start drawing.
I always feel like I'm taking a walk outdoors when I draw or paint nature - relaxed and refreshed.
Below, you'll see some of my pencil drawings of trees, forests and other landscapes created over the years of 2007 and 2014. Their order is not accidental - I wanted you to really be able to see my progress :)
First two works I've added to this collection are also the very first two drawings of nature that I was happy with!
