I worked with my small agile team to develop the UX strategy, Interaction Design and Visual Design of Nickelodeon's new mobile site. The biggest challenge was that the mobile site had to be a hybrid of their newly launched native app and their website. They wanted the “feel” of a native app, but with the content accessibility and speed of their brand's website. It was a huge ask, especially since this was back in early 2013, before HTML5 and CSS are where they are today.

We set out to create the most fun and usable mobile site in the space. We invited a group of kids, ages 5-10, to our office to understand how they use their devices and how and why they access content. The result is an extremely intuitive, graphical, highly interactive responsive mobile site that will entertain even those kids with the shortest of attention spans.
