Sweet Revenge

Branding for Sweet Revenge; a new cake and pastry company in Jamaica. There are plenty of competitors in their market, many becoming very successful in short time. However, Sweet Revenge will have a strong starting advantage over them: the taste of the pastries and the brand identity and voice. The design and voice to bring across the confidence in the taste of the products and the commitment to being high quality out the gate.

I wanted to stay away from the over-crowded and over-branded approach and style of most of the local pastry brands and keep Sweet Revenge clean and simple but not bare. I made the brand color a nice shade of orange that is used almost exclusively in it's branding as a way to differentiate itself from its competitors and help to be easily recognizable in it's category in the long term. Same for the logo, not so trendy but still modern and recognizable.

The branding effort helped Sweet Revenge to secure sources of funding and to be listed in a few choice shops that are only offered to brands with great products, management and branding.
