RETAIL DESIGN - FOOD LOVER'S MARKET - SOMERSET WEST, SOUTH AFRICA
Creating a brand new concept store for Food Lover's Market with new departments, bigger floor space, energy-saving technologies, bigger food offerings - a true world class shopping experience. Of course, it’s not just the branding that is different to the rest of the existing stores - with the creative animatronics you can expect to see a cow above the dairy shed section that moos when you walk past it. A waving scarecrow sits above the vegetables as does a tractor with spinning wheels. And then seagulls can be heard when you walk past the own in-store fish and chips section next to the vintage food truck from which fish & chips are served. I had the privilege to have a total blank canvas with this project and enjoyed putting this concept together.
