Rather than shoot a traditional "Here's how a human hand interacts with a new app's interface" the director (Ian McCamey) chose to stage a play. The setting was Crissy Field in San Francisco, where Ian had built an 8' iPhone replica. To interact with the app the actors brought in their own screens and pushed buttons, at which point the next screen would be brought in by another actor.

We were afraid we'd have to shoot on a blustery fall day but we were fortunate to have bright sun and beautiful clouds to work with. Shot on a Canon C300 with my custom color matrix settings.
