The photo series shows common small town architecture inthe USA with the mark of the economic crisis. The images reflect the gapbetween American dream and the economic reality, they display the blending ofresignation and hope, desperation and national pride. The continuous fade-awayof the lower middle-class has been an emphazised problem in the recent presidentialelection campaign in the USA. But the issue keeps becoming more and more importantin Eurpean countries as well, especially in the course of the Euro Crisis.
