Million Trees NYC Marketing Campaign

The project was to create a series of three advertisements for the Million Trees NYC Campaign, which aims to plant a million trees in New York City. Each advertisement is geared toward a specified audience and all include handmade images.
Specified Audience: Big Business and Major Money Corporations.
By using a solar print of George Washington from the one dollar bill, I pointed out that money isn't the only green item of importance. The hopes of this poster is that big businesses will donate money to the program so more trees can be planted in NYC Parks.
Specified Audience: New York Families.
Every year, thousands of trees are cut down to be used as a family Christmas tree which many see as a waste. I created hand cut and glued tissue paper trees to keep with the handmade theme. The idea for this advertisement's visuals was that it would remind parents of their children (this is a common type of project in schools) and then after reading the advertisement, instead of cutting down a tree they would opt to plant one at no cost to them. Not only would it be great for the environment but it would be a family bonding experience.
Specified Audience: Retailers
Especially in NYC, there tends to be a lack of trees (unless you are in Central Park, or course!).  The idea behind this advertisement is to entice retailers to ask for trees to be planted in front of their businesses, therefore helping the community as well as making their storefront look beautiful and increasing their visitors. This entire piece was cut and glued by hand and then photographed on a piece of green cardstock.
