This is an original book project for children. The main idea was to design a friendly book that will encourage frequent visits to dental offices and explain how important oral hygiene is. The essence of establishing positive contact with children in the unpleasant conditions of dental offices, is to use the language of images understood by them, free associations and simple symbols. The book is a collection of basic information, the necessary rules to help prevent tooth decay. It does not have a linear plot and can be read from anywhere. I was thinking about dividing it into 3 smaller ones.
Prevention is very important but you forget about it. Ministry Health informs society to a small extent about this problem,
and Poland in statistics it functions as one of the more neglected countries. I think children they should have healthy habits taught right from the start to prevent them often unpleasant treatment. It is important to ensure good contact with the dentist
even before they appear the first teeth to prevent dentophobia.
In the elaboration of the text, I used the book "Prevention and treatment of carious disease in children" by prof. Dorota Olczak Kowalczyk and knowledge medicine doctor den. Estery Piróg.
The substantive content was confirmed by prof. dr hab.n.med. Marta Tanasiewicz.
