Television spots allowed us time to make claims about Ram's superiority, but not enough time to actually prove those claims. So we created a ten-film documentary series that told the stories of real Ram truck owners—no actors—so consumers could look under our hood and see there were no skeletons hidden in there. Prior to this campaign,
neither Ford nor Chevy ever attempted to prove their claims. Our guess at the time? They couldn't.
