DailyUI #005: App icon
This time another imaginary app, yet with a story. I am inspired by the movement "Time Well Spent"[1].
It's about trying to find ways to mediate in an economy which revolves around trying to get hold of and keep our attention. In a world where we are tied to our smart phones, we need to guard for spending our time well, rather than have our attention diverted to yet another notification, news feed or app.
That's how I got the idea for PomoNoti. What about combining the mission of time well spent with the Pomodoro technique?
As a service, PomoNoti is focused on both smartphones and browsers. I think it adds value to launch it as an app and as a browser extension/website service.
Hence, I made a high-res icon for smartphone apps and a favicon-sized icon for browsers.
Bonus! I made an animation to reflect the notification-gathering nature of Pomonoti!
