Path
“Where am I going?” Sometimes I ask myself.

I’ve been treading my life’s path unguided since I left my parents house. The path is not straight, not paved. It’s winding, it goes up and down, and sometimes my feet are burdened with mud, sometimes I get tired. I feel that my life’s path is much like a hiking trail. Though the path seems easy when I look at the map, the real trail is more difficult than I anticipated.

The trail has many detours which lead me to unexpected places. Some paths are new to me, but someone else has already walked along them in the past. I never know how others have reached this point, nor which route they took at the next crossroads. Maybe they took different paths, maybe their end destinations are different than mine.

I keep walking and walking along this unpredictable path. Intuition becomes my main tool to determine my directions. It’s for me to decide which path to take when I face a fork in the road. No one can tell which route is the right, but all I can do is continue to walk without certainty.
