With his project Formsaachen the designer Max Widdra takes you on a walk through Aachen. This visual journey takes you to his personal favorite places and sets another precious monument to the beautiful heart of Europe with this design object.

Discover Aachen on every game card in a playful way and gain exciting new perspectives on the city chosen by Charlemagne to be the centre of power of the Carolingian Empire. Aahs and Oohs are guaranteed here!

Formsaachen is a confrontation with Aachens most significant landmarks which shape the cityscape significantly. Over 50 vector illustrations were created that illustrate buildings, fountains and monuments. The goal was to break their appearance down to the essential basic shapes and colors without losing their character.
