Conception:
The foreign language school “International House” was chosen for a bachelor degree project. This school located in the center of Kharkiv city in Ukraine. Three main spaces such as the information hall, the classroom and the lecture hall were designed. International House World Organisation is one of the most famous language schools in the world. It has more than 150 schools in 52 countries. That's why it was important to made the design understandable and useful for everyone. The main forming elements are rectangular shapes with radially rounded shapes and lines.
The shaped elements are guiding lines on a floor, on which names of different countries of the world were written. You could go to each of the classrooms from the main way. Every guiding roads to a classroom was marked with a name of a country. It depends on an official language of a country.
These guiding roads give us a chance to discover the world the same as languages and they symbolize real roads that connect all countries and people.
Also, the imaginative solutions used maps and graphic images with symbols of famous cities. Of course, company style was used in the design. That`s why blue and white were used as the main colors.
