CAESARSTONE COMPETITION

- CREATIVE PEAK -
As part of the Caesarstone Student Designer 2017,  the company felt that the creative industries have long been neglected in mainstream trade and industry policy in South-Africa. As part of the brief, it was expected of us to design a Arterial network no larger than 1000m². The site of the project was to be self-determined as well as the creative context. The space that was designed was an outdoor performance area as well as a cafeteria within the beautiful surroundings of the Western Cape mountains.

- CONCEPT -
CREATIVE PEAK found its inspiration from the beautiful  mountains surrounding the Bosjes Farm, which was the location chosen for the project. The concept aims to incorporate the natural & creative shapes of the mountains within the architecture and interiors of this project. The design was created to form a space which causes the user to see the true beauty of nature and experience a creative, interesting environment. Not only does the user find creativity within the design but also within the performers performing on a stage surrounded by the beautiful scenery which the Bosjes Farm has to offer. A cafeteria is also available for visitors to enjoy refreshments while taking in the breath taking show and views surrounding them.
