This art I have made, inspired by my time on the Island of The Gods, is a humble reflection and personal tribute of the immense richness and beauty of Balinese people and culture, channeled through my own artistic process. Despite the sometimes unsettling and even demonic appearance of Barong, he is a benevolent protector spirit that maintains the spiritual balance of cosmic forces. I acknowledge the sacredness of Balinese art and respectfully offer this work it has inspired.
