Cairokee is an Egyptian rock band that fights for people’s rights through their songs.
This project consists of reinterpreting their image and creating an album cover and a poster.
Their current image is rather dark, black being a dominant color. I thought I’d go for a completely
different look, one with pop colors. These colors project a feel of freedom, something that the
band fights for and hopes to someday obtain for Egypt. As for the design, the colorful waves
create a sense of movement, a ripple effect spreading. This represents the impact spreading
across the country.
