Cassiopeia is a boutique home store that prides itself on it’s unique offering of Scottish art and design, as well as high quality jewellery and home accessories. The name lends itself from a constellation of stars, injecting a little glitter and shine into the home.

The brandmark takes direct inspiration from the constellation of Cassiopeia and the mythological story of unrivalled beauty. It takes cues from classic typefaces and hints at the Greek mythology behind the name.

It is made more modern by removing the thin extenders of the letterforms and making the typeface feel more minimal. The letters are widely spaced to feel more sophisticated.

The five stars of Cassiopeia are integrated into the brandmark in a ‘W’ shape, as is the stars placement in the constellation.

The letter ‘C’ can be used in isolation on smaller touchpoints like gift cards and stickers. The ‘C’ has one circle (star) which is meant to reinforce the unique offerings of the store
(one of a kind, special find).
