Identity design for a Shanghai based start up network connecting small emerging businesses with investors in a rapidly expanding market. A Modern Entrepreneur is an app based platform designed to pair individuals with contrasting goods and services in order to expand one anothers businesses.

Using angular, parallel lines in the wordmark, the identity reflects the business' role as a facilitator of business development through indirect support and opportunity. The juxtaposition of the bold and outlined letterforms create a sophisticated pairing, with a focus on the more intricate letterforms as a reference to the complex nature of becoming a successful entrepreneur. 

The overall colour palette is sophisticated and muted tones of slate and marble with a flash of copper as an accent colour to represent the uniqueness and stand out qualities of entrepreneurs to their industry.
