UWC Changshu China Year Three Opening Ceremony

Background Picture Design for Year Three Opening Ceremony of UWC Changshu China
The final version. This one features the group picture of our diverse student body during project week in Hubei, which renders more vitality and distinctness than the somewhat "abstract" one below.
The proposed version. The shape of two circles comes from UWC's logo, and the miscellaneous color scheme on the left circle chosen tries to capture the diversity of our student body from over 100 countries and regions, whereas the green and the blue on the right epitomize the central color of UWC movement. This combination of two mixtures of colors represents the diversity existed in the UWC movement. Notably, although it is not on purpose, the green part reminds the audience the image of bamboos, a plant commonly cultivated by ancient Chinese scholars for the sake of appreciation, which in parts symbolizes the Chinese culture within this campus.
