Bubbels is a multifunctional accomodation in which a swimmingpool (by Akwaak), childcare (by Allio) and fysiotherapy & fitness (by Topfit) are incorporated.
Each of the partners will intensively utilize the extra possibilities that the other has to offer.
Built in to the accomodation is a biomass-fueled energy plant, providing hot heating water for both Bubbels as well as 500 surrounding houses.
Its name Bubbels refers to fun with water, the central theme to the concept. This theme is made visible in the facades in the shape of large 'water drops'.
