Color Cube
For this project we needed to create cube that had 96 small squares 16 in each face of the cube with different colors. The only colors that we were allow to use, were the primary colors, red, blue, and yellow, and black and white. With this 5 colors we needed to create almost 96 different colors I say almost because in the corners and on the sides we needed a pattern that reflected the same color on the other side. But before we started the cube we needed to learn the basic colors that were created by the primary colors, so we needed to create a color wheel.
Here we combined the primary colors to created the secondary colors such as purple, green and orange, this were born from the mixtures of the primary. Purple=Red+Blue. Green=Yellow+Blue. Orange=Yellow+Red. Beside the secondary colors we created the tertiary colors that came from adding more from one color than adding the same amount. When we understood this basic concept of color we needed to start our cube.

The corners of the cube needed to by the primary colors, the secondary colors and black and white, the sum of this should give us the eight corners of the cube. From one corner to another we needed to create a transition between the colors, so that it shows how by adding some amount the mixture of the color changes a bit. The way a connected the corners of the cube was that from black it transition to the secondary colors, from white the primary colors, and from the primary colors they connected to the secondary colors.
The transition from one color to another was required to show. On the sides of the cube we needed to create 2 copies of the same square so that it shows the connection between the faces of the cube. At the center of each side was required to create the right transition by combining the mixtures that had been produced to created the basic gradation so that from one corner to another or from side to side it showed a new color that had been created by those mixtures with a certain amount.
At last we were asked to create the cube were this squares will shine. I went for a solid black for the background, because it brings more attention to the colors.
