I decided to do a typographic exploration with space and motion.

The 'O's in the word wormhole become the portals by which the rest of the word travels through. Space becomes confused as the word's path travels in the opposite direction toward the center of the work. It changes course once more to the right side.

Ultimately the work would evolve. I cut the letterforms and holes out of black & white vinyl and then applied them onto three different planes of a cabinet. I photographed the work using a long exposure, moving the camera to capture the motion.
