Perspective: Futuristic Indie Film Design

I did the design for an indie film called "Perspective". It's a futuristic film about having your memories removed - here is the logline: " Set in the future the Memory Bank can remove your most tragic memories - but since it's overloaded a glitch has caused people to lose their memories but gain painful memories from complete strangers. Kate must try to find the owner of her horrible new memories before she loses her mind to these visions".

Below I have my lookbook as well set photos of my design.

This is the final result of the film:
The alley - I drew a lot of inspiration from Blade Runner. I have this ugly grundy world lit up by neon and technology.
I added the lanterns because I wanted to incorporate that mix of cultures that Blade Runner has. It's set so far in the future that most of the human race has blended together to make a mix of cultures.
Placing puddles to have a reflective surface in the shot
Most of the signs are handmade due to the amount of time I had.
These were the posters made for the alley. I did them myself in order to save time and costs. I wanted to draw in a bit more color while still being able to set the world in this certain time period.
Kate's bedroom: Kate, the main character with the memories of a girl being murdered, has this room that is almost claustrophobic due to the mess in her head. I demonstrated that through the drawings of her thoughts.
The Memory Bank: This was supposed to be the most futuristic part of the set. It's very minimal and the extras have the more outrageous outfits.
The secretary of the Memory Bank's lobby.
One of the doctors from the Memory Bank.
I only had red neon here to demonstrate that gut feeling of something that isn't right. The same color Kate sees in the alley.
I had neon in the IV bags and running down the tube. I had also designed a screen for the IPad to show the type of memory they're putting inside/ taking out of her.
