Heartwood Agile Learning Center is a K-12 self-directed school in Atlanta, Georgia that focuses on the liberation and empowerment of historically disenfranchised and marginalized students. My task was to name it. 

"Heartwood" is the innermost layer of a tree, its core. It's a natural representation of strength from the inside out, and the visual of growth rings symbolizes the personal development of the students.
