Electric City Playhouse publishes a Season Brochure every year and this year I had the opportunity to design it for them. This year one of their biggest goals was to reach out to a younger audience and attract local college students to appear in their shows. My challenge was to create a mail piece that would be eye-catching and contain all the necessary information about the theater and the upcoming season and how to apply for membership.

I felt that creating something fun, dynamic, and colorful would not only immulate the new, dynamic shows in the upcoming season but appeal more to the younger audiences in the area. After creating the wordmarks and icons for each show and selecting a color scheme, I took a bit of inspiration from Saul Bass and created a pattern of jagged color blocks to create movement.
