Best Pastel de Nata at the Time Out Market

This is our first day in Lisbon and Marla suggested to me and my mother in law to have lunch at a place called Time Out Market.

We get there by Über and we can see that the place is busy. Right at the entrance we smell the most amazing and delicious scent from the Pasteis de Nata. I knew I was going to get in line for that after lunch.
The place has a really cool warm and industrial vibe to it. The long tables is the charm bringing everyone closer together. There is no way you don't end up knowing your neighbour or at least asking about its food.
We learned that The Time Out Market showcases local chefs from Lisbon who have their own big restaurants in town and a pop up mini shop there.
We walked around the shops to check their menus and everything was incredible. From seafood to pastas, croquettes to deserts, soups, cheeses, Asian cuisine... you name it. They also have wine stations around.
Sandra and I chose to eat at Marlene Vieira. I saw this leg of octopus with mash potatoes and I knew I had to have it. Sandra had seafood risotto.
All meals were well presented as you can see.
But the best were the Pastel de Natas from the Manteigaria. No matter where you were in the Market, you couldn't run away from the freshly baked Pasteis de Nata. They not only smell amazing from miles away, the chefs would ring a bell to let everyone know when fresh ones had just left the oven. So I went there once, twice, three and then four times. The girls from #manteigaria were spotting me at the end of the line up and giggling. 'There she comes again".... Kkkk we had great laughs together.
After lunch Sandra and I walked from there to the Commercial Plaza. This open plaza used to be where all commercial goodies used to be sold from Asia, Africa and Europe.
We walked a lot today and decided to head back to the boat to check out on our crew.
