The „Feature“ magazine is a collective diploma project of the graduating students of the Font Workshop of Moscow State University of Printing Arts. The director of the project is Aleksandr Tarbeev. The „Feature“ magazine is intended for type designers. It has no analogues among the Russian-language publications. It contains research articles in the field of type design.
My issue of „Feature“ is called „Feature calt“ and it is dedicated to the greek script and type technologies. In addition to the articles about greek script, approaches and OpenType Features, it also introduces the „Flauto“ type family and the catalogue of font projects by the Font Workshop of Moscow State University of Printing Arts. While making „Feature calt“ I was a designer, illustrator, compiler, type designer and translator. I used my „Flauto“ typefamily for the main setting, headlines and type illustrations. I also made photograms with my typeface for the first and third sides of the magazine cover.

Мой номер журнала называется „Feature calt“, и в этом номере я выступила как дизайнер, иллюстратор, составитель, автор шрифта и переводчик. „Feature calt“ посвящён исследованию греческой письменности и шрифтовым технологиям, он также содержит каталог шрифтовых проектов Шрифтовой мастерской Московского государственного университета Печати и статью, представляющую мою шрифтовую гарнитуру „Flauto“ (этот шрифт я использовала в журнале для основного набора, заголовков и шрифтовых иллюстраций). Для оформления первой и третьей сторонок обложки я сделала фотограммы.
