Be prepared to encounter traffic when visiting China. Lots of traffic. With such vast areas, enormous distances, and of course lots of people, noisy traffic is a ubiquitous sight in the Chinese urban landscape. This series explores different perspectives and scales, from the individual in the street, old and young, to masses of traffic seen from above. From the village to the big city, day and night, the traffic in China are constantly on the move

These photographs are from two different trips I did to China, one in July 2009, the second in August/September 2011. The locations included are Qufu (Shandong), Nanjing and Shanghai.
