Utopia Urban Magazine Design
2014 Bachelor's Degree Project
During my Bachelor's Degree in Design at IADE, I was asked to design and develop an Urban Magazine and its brand "Utopia".
The magazine's design is different from any other as its grid is a guideline and not a restriction, becoming possible to change it's layout dynamically from article to article and magazine to magazine; however, it always emphasizes the importance of photography.
I developed a clean, powerful and versatile brand, meant to work symbiotically with the cover, blending in or overpowering it; to this end, "Utopia" and/or the dot on the "i" may change colours, and shown below.
