2014 Bachelor's Degree Project
During my Bachelor's Degree in Design at IADE, I was asked to devise a concept based on a letter of a word, invent a story and show it through stopmotion. The use of digital software was only allowed to order the images and add audio to the sequence.
Concept & Story
This is the story of a formless and homogeneous being, who became detached from its world; this interruption allowed it to develop and sense of individuality. Being lost from all it once knew, it traveled, eventually finding its own identity as "R".
As its journey continued, challenges presented themselves. Hardship made this once amorphous being, into a developed creature, who could no longer define itself by a single trait or colour. In time, "R" found a place where it belonged and became able to show its true colours. As it matured, it forged itself; no longer remaining a formless being, but acquiring a physical form: a majestic "R", for Reborn.
