The colors were easy. Holly's Orange and Blue plus my Orange and Green. To fully utilize this approach, we decided to print in only shades of Gray along with the embossing. The size of the invitations mimicked that of the Save the Date to help with the overall cohesiveness. To help achieve the boldness in color we were hoping to achieve we used French Paper Co.'s Pop-Tone line in Blu Raspberry, Sour Apple, and Orange Fizz with Sweet Tooth envelopes to top it off. The embossed birds were pulled directly from the Save the Date illustration.
