The Belmont's Wake

The Belmont was an artist apartment located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. Like most older buildings in the area, it was scheduled to be torn down and replaced with upscale condos. In an effort to send the building off, the artists organized a huge installation on the inside of the building. The hallways were filled with street art, and the rooms were dedicated to individual installations. These pictures are all from the night of the opening party, which was also the Belmont's final night of existence.
