Problem:
Design a magazine cover for a fictitious magazine, featuring cover art or image, a masthead, and cover lines.
How I solved it:
I created a magazine cover based on a fictitious pirate magazine. For the cover art, I found a picture of a man dressing as a pirate to use. Utilizing layer masks, I have the pirate hat displaying over the masthead. I also cut out vintage coins and placed them in random sizes and angles behind the masthead.
