One of my projects in college, where we were told to design a shopping bag for a popular store. I chose Spencer's, a mall retailer that specializes in gag gifts, band products, room decor, and creepy fantasy items. I felt the store has the type of abnormal style I like to work with. I chose to design the bag with strange graffiti creatures on a brick wall because the store is commonly designed with brick walls. My thoughts were also that the strange creatures interacting with elements on the shopping bag would match well with Spencer's weird and/or monstrous aesthetics. Stylistically, I intentionally used messy lines to further the capturing of the store's image within the bag.

In addition to the shopping bag, I decided to create a gift card and coupon in the same style. Once again, I made the creatures on the product interact with various elements.
