"Clay Sculpture - Turin Turambar" sculpted with NSP Medium Chavant Clay (20").

This sculpture was my first concept of Turin Turambar, a character inspired by the book The Silmarillion - J.R.R. Tolkien. I made it based on the actual description of the character in the book. The pictures below show part of the creation process and some details, like the boots. Under the garments, I sculpted every muscle/bone/joint above the knee prior to attaching his armor. A typical rigging passionate person mindset! 

Below, since it was a character concept creation, I recreated his muscular anatomy and bone structure before applying clothes.
